AV8Services where delighted to be able to make it to the first event of the VSCC 2010 season.   The spring start event hosted at Silverstone used the new national course, the circuit having been redesigned for 2010, with a new section being added from the old Abbey corner to Luffield.  The old circuit section of Farm, Bridge and Priory is no-longer in use, and the track and the infamous bridge are scheduled for removal. This new track is also part of the revised Silverstone circuit for the British Grand Prix in July.

Ideal weather conditions made for a very good turnout, and also made documenting the event photographically a pleasure not a chore. I’d also like to thank the VSCC for allowing me as a non-member to make use of the BRDC stand as a vantage point.

Lastly it was a pleasure to meet up with Guy Lachlan, who will be standing down from the CEO role at the BBGA over the summer , and running his new venture Classic Oils Limited.  Guy will be missed as the voice of the BBGA, and I wish him every success in his new venture.
